Dr. Smith has built a thriving practice by providing excellent foot and ankle care to patients from the Beverly, Lincoln Park, and the Hyde Park communities.
Since 1998, Dr. Smith’s practice has provided medical and surgical treatment of the foot and ankle.
Dr. Smith specializes in Diabetic Foot Care and treats a variety of foot conditions. Dr. Smith has had intensive training in Foot & Ankle surgery. He cares for ankle injuries, foot fractures, hammertoes, ingrown toenails, warts, and fungal nails. Sports injuries and orthotic devices round out Dr. Smith’s array of services.
He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Monmouth College and received his Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degrees from the William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine. He completed his post-graduate training with an internship at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, Texas and residency at Bellaire Medical Center in Houston, Texas.
Dr. Smith is board certified with the American Board of Podiatric Medicine and the American Board of Foot & Ankle Surgery.
Dr. Smith is also on staff at Little Company of Mary Hospital and Medical Center, Mercy Hospital and Medical Center, Advocate Trinity Hospital, Advocate Christ Medical Center, and St. Joseph Hospital.
He is also a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and the American College of Foot and Ankle Orthopedics and Medicine. He is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association, the National Podiatric Medical Association, the Illinois Podiatric Medical Association, the Cook County Podiatric Medical Association, and the American Diabetes Association.
Dr. Smith has served has President of the Illinois Podiatric Medical Association, the National Podiatric Medical Association, and the Cook County Podiatric Medical Association.
Qeena C. Woodard, DPM

In 2006, Dr. Qeena Woodard joined Smith Centers for Foot and Ankle Care as Coordinator of Diabetic Foot and Ankle Care.
During her podiatric, medical and surgical training, she has been afforded many opportunities. The multidisciplinary approach which her residency adheres to includes treating complicated diabetic foot infections, limb salvage, prophylactic diabetic surgery, rearfoot surgery including charcot reconstruction surgery, and advanced wound care techniques.
Dr Woodard’s experiences as administrative Chief Resident entailed many different strengths ranging from leadership, teamwork, consistency and honesty. She is self motivated to bring the highest level of excellence in patient care and advance the prevention of diabetic limb amputations.
Dr. Woodard holds a BA degree from Emory University and DPM/BS from Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine. She is a past board member for the National Podiatric Medical Association, past president of Cook County Podiatric Medical Association and member of ACFAS. Dr. Woodard is Board Certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine, American Board of Podiatric Surgery and American Board of Wound Management. Dr. Woodard currently holds a faculty position at Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine.
Debra Smith, COO
Debra Smith is COO of Smith Centers for Foot & Ankle Care. Mrs Smith oversees the company’s day to day operations, creates operations strategies and policies and communicates operational strategies to employees. She oversees all aspects of running the practice. HR, IT, marketing and staffing are just a few of the hats she wears on any given day. There’s no part of the practice that she is not involved in. She has a thirty plus year background in business management, communications and customer service. Debra Smith holds a BA from Roosevelt University and is a member of the American Academy of Podiatric Practice Management.
